This Privacy Policy describes how Vitruvius Projekt Zeta GmbH ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the LogistIn mobile application (the "App").
LogistIn is a warehouse management application designed for business use. The App is intended for employees of our clients (warehouse operators) and is provided to them as part of their internal operations.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
When you use the App, you or your employer may provide the following information:
• Account information: full name, employee code, role, email address, and phone number
• Authentication data: PIN code (stored locally on your device), biometric authentication data (processed by your device's operating system — we never access or store your biometric data)
• Support requests: subject, message, and any photos you attach
• Product data: product names, SKUs, barcodes, quantities, storage locations, categories, descriptions, and photos
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the App, the following information may be collected:
• Location data: your device's geographic coordinates (latitude, longitude, accuracy), only when you explicitly request a location check within the App
• Device information: device model, operating system version, and app version for diagnostic purposes
• Usage data: timestamps of actions performed in the App (e.g., when a product quantity was updated)
2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect:
• Advertising identifiers
• Browsing history
• Financial information
• Health data
• Data from other applications on your device

3. How We Use Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
• To provide the App's core functionality: managing inventory, scanning barcodes, editing product data
• To authenticate users: verifying your identity via employee code, PIN, or biometrics
• To enable team communication: displaying colleague contact information
• To process support requests: forwarding your messages and photos to your organization's support team
• To verify product location: confirming that a product is at the expected warehouse location
• To improve the App: analyzing usage patterns to fix bugs and improve performance
We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, or profiling purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Where Data Is Stored
Data collected through the App is stored in two locations:
1. Locally on your device: cached data, settings, and PIN codes are stored on your device using secure local storage (Dexie/IndexedDB)
2. On your organization's server: Vitruvius Projekt Zeta GmbH does not operate a central server. All product, user, and support data is transmitted to and stored on the server operated by your employer (the warehouse operator). We do not have access to this data.
4.2 Security Measures
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
• Encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS) between the App and your organization's server
• Local PIN protection using your device's secure storage
• Biometric authentication processed entirely by your device's operating system
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
4.3 Data Retention
We do not control the retention of data stored on your organization's server. Retention periods are determined by your employer. Locally stored data remains on your device until you uninstall the App or use the "Reset All Data" function in the App's settings.

5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Your information may be shared only in the following cases:
• With your employer: all data collected by the App is transmitted to the server operated by your employer
• With your colleagues: your name, role, email, and phone number may be visible to other authorized users of the App within your organization
• With support staff: your support requests, including attached photos and location data, are sent to your organization's designated support team
• Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
We do not use any third-party analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking services.

6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., the European Union under GDPR, California under CCPA), you may have the following rights:
• Right of access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Right to rectification: request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to erasure: request deletion of your data
• Right to restrict processing: request that we limit how your data is used
• Right to data portability: request your data in a portable format

The App is intended for use by employees aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). 8. International Data Transfers
The App may be used in different countries. Data is stored on servers operated by your employer, which may be located in a country different from your own. We do not transfer your data internationally ourselves; such transfers are controlled by your employer.

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document
• Notify users through the App or by email if the changes are significant
